Transition to Summer

Move into Fire

Description

This series is part of the Ride the Fire Horse year-long Qigong program, designed to work with the transformative and volatile energy of 2026 — so you end the year in a better place, without being scattered by it. Working with a personal intention as our anchor, the practice builds both the clarity to set it and the resilience to sustain it. The overarching goal of every series in this program is to harmonize your Vitality, Emotional, and Wisdom energetic centers — the signature of good health and the foundation for having stamina, being able to deal well with change, and making sound decisions. We will also add specific practices to work with the mini-seasons of the Chinese calendar, which, in Chinese Medicine, are associated with vertebrae of the spine. At the end of one year, your spine will be in much better shape. In this series we work with the growing Yang momentum of the Fire Horse energy as it evolves from the Spring Equinox to Summer Solstice, to keep it productive, focused, and under control — so it helps us manifest our intentions. Elementally, the focus is on the Wood and Fire energies, which govern the health of the Liver, Gallbladder, and the Circulatory system. The specific vertebrae are T10, T9 & T8 As in all sessions in the Ride the Fire Horse program, the three dates are selected using Ze Ri (Chinese Date Selection), aligning the energy of each session with the specific work we do in it. Replays will be shared within a couple of hours, so you can still do the practice in the following few days, when the energy continues to be supportive for this work. April 23 — Release what no longer serves - T10 May 7 — Set and clarify your intention - T9 May 18 — Strengthen and stabilize the intention - T8 A worksheet will be provided to help you refine your intention and identify your next actionable steps. Each class stands on its own; together, the series provides ongoing support for navigating the Fire Horse year with clarity and for moving intention forward in a more focused and resilient way.
