Maintain Coherence

June 15th, 8:30 pm EST | Summer Solstice Qigong

Description

Channel the Fire · Calm the Heart · Preserve the Flame A Year-Long Qigong Journey Through the Fire Horse Year The Fire Horse year began on February 4, 2026, initiating a period of strong, transformative, forward-moving Yang energy. Riding the Fire Horse is designed as a sequence of seasonal Qigong offerings throughout the year, each aligned with the changing energetic demands of the cycle. The Summer Solstice marks the peak of Fire energy — a time of maximum intensity, capable of burning everything. This series focuses on channeling excess Fire, calming the Heart, and preserving direction so growth can continue without depletion. These classes are suitable whether you are joining for the first time or continuing from earlier sessions. You do not need to have participated in previous series or set a prior intention; you are welcome to arrive with a new one. Each series offers a complete, self-contained experience, while also fitting into the broader year-long arc. The timing of each class is selected using Date Selection (Ze Ri), layering the energies of the year, the season in the Chinese calendar, the lunar phase, and the energetic quality of the specific day itself. Each class stands on its own; together, the series provides ongoing support for navigating the Fire Horse year with clarity and for moving intention forward. Class 2 — Calm the Heart Maintain Inner Coherence This second Summer session focuses on calming the Heart and settling the mind, supporting emotional steadiness and inner coherence during a season of peak stimulation. Through centering Qigong practices, we stabilize the Heart–Mind connection, support clarity and presence, and reconnect with intention. A worksheet will be provided to help clarify and anchor intention. The timing of this class is selected using Date Selection (Ze Ri). June 15 is a day when several energetic factors support calming, centering, and emotional regulation. The days that follow also carry supportive energies for this work, making the practice beneficial even if you cannot participate live. Replay will be available.
