Digestive System Health - Moon Qigong

Prepare for Fall - Strengthen Your Spleen, Pancreas and Stomach

In Chinese Medicine Digestion is related to the spleen, considered to be governing it, the pancreas, and the stomach. Emotions are also responsible for physical problems. Trusting and nourishing others are some of the emotions associated with a healthy digestive system. On the other hand, constant worry and overthinking are signs that you cannot properly digest mental and emotional things coming your way, and your digestive energy is out of balance. The digestive system belongs to the Earth element, and its season is early Fall, the time of harvest. Join me in this series to strengthen it and prepare for the upcoming early Fall season. The Qigong movements will holistically address physical and emotional issues in general, but the focus will be on digestive health. The classes are scheduled around the Lunar cycles, ending on a Full Moon, the optimal time for manifesting desires. We’ll start around the Last Quarter, during the Waning moon, which facilitates releasing whatever no longer serves us. After some introspection about physical and emotional blocks in the digestive system, we’ll do Qigong movements to release stuck energy and accumulated imbalances. At the next session, during the New Moon, we set an intention of health, and in the following two sessions we continue to grow that intention, culminating at the Full Moon. Note that classes meet on Mondays 8:30 pm US EDT, which is Tuesdays at 9:30 AM Malaysia/Singapore (GMT+8). It is recommended that you book the series, but you can join any of the sessions and it will still be beneficial.
